Can my phones play messages-on-hold?
To properly equip your phones with messages-on-hold, a multi-line phone system with a key service unit is required. A knowledgeable hpc sales representative is able to assist you in determining your telephone requirements.
Does it cost extra to update my 'on hold' messages?
Script updates within your MOH package are included in the price of your service. For example, if you choose the Bronze Plan, you receive four updates per year (messages change with the seasons). These four updates are included in the cost of the Bronze Plan; no additional charges are applied.
Can I pick my voice talent and background music?
Of course! By default, the hpc Production Department will choose the appropriate professional male/female announcer combination to suit your business. If you'd prefer, you may choose a specific announcer voice or mix (all male, all female, mix, etc.) You are also able to choose a specific genre of background music from our extensive, fully-licensed library. You can hear samples of both music and announcer choices by clicking on the appropriate links on the top left-hand side of the page.
Do you offer recordings in different languages?
Yes we do. Our talent pool includes announcers fluent in English, French, Italian and more. Speak to a friendly hpc representative about other language requests. We would be happy to accommodate your needs.
Does my message-on-hold recording start right from the beginning every time I put someone 'on hold'?
If you use a digital player from hpc, your recording plays in a continuous loop; it does not necessarily start at the first message when a call is placed 'on hold'. This allows callers to hear a variety of information about your company.
